Our D2 tool steel blades offer high performance and long life compared to other standard granulator blades.

D2 is a high carbon, high chromium tool steel. With additional vanadium and molybdenum for abrasion and wear resistance, D2 is ideally suited to the manufacture of granulator blades.

Heat-treated for additional hardness, our D2 blades are supplied to some of the world’s leading names in the recycling and plastics sectors who can rely on the quality of our blades to keep their operations running at full capacity.

A. F.  Whiteley only ever use fully traceable European steels sourced from trusted manufacturers.

And with every blade made here in Sheffield in our ISO9001 certified factory,  you can be assured that your finish products will be manufactured to the highest standards.

Unlike many other suppliers we never compromise on material quality or outsource production to low cost economies. With A. F. Whiteley ‘Made in Sheffield’ means exactly that.
